Retail Store/Counter Design:
• Ensures alignment across regional and local market teams on individual store designs. Collaborates directly with country’s Retail/Marketing team on store’s needs that will support the division in achieving strategic goals on time and within budget
• Partners with international design team (DMI) to assist with development and interpretation of the overall design direction for each individual brands to external partners and vendors. Responsible for assisting in the overall concept development and implementation, color direction, fixture design, material selection, functionality and capacity for the store programs
• Involved in the implementation process and creates design standards together with global team, local vendors, and master drawing templates and details for construction documents.
• Manages the production of construction documents by vendors. Ensures all intended scope of work, needs and code requirements are met on drawings. Check drawings for design intent. Conduct site visits as needed.
• Conducts plan reviews to ensure that all approved design intentions are fully executed. Works with Purchasing and vendors on prototype development and samples. Responsible for fixture design and
development as well as value engineering recommendations
• Leads efforts in accuracy and consistency of the architectural plans as it relates to the brands design criteria.
• Oversees proper implementation of store design with Construction Team and General Contractors as well as with Purchasing Team. Collaborates closely supporting all needs of each department
Other Responsibilities
• Management of overall visual displays for launches. Responsible to work with visual merchandiser to strategize and execute marketing launch campaigns at retail level
• Supports marketing’s effort in conceptualizing and realizing outdoor/offsite podiums, PR events and/or any other public events to ensure customer’s experience is kept optimal |

• Education : BA, Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design or Architecture
• Experience: minimum 5 years
Previous experience in retail, hospitality or restaurant design including management and preparing presentation of construction documents, interior plans and details and/or researching fixture, furniture and
equipment / Working knowledge, experience and/or expertise in construction, architecture and engineering disciplines.

• Experience in preferably consumer industry
Experience with both Soft and Hard Merchandising
Current knowledge of industry trends in retail store design
• Current working knowledge of building and health codes and compliance issues
• Demonstrated 3D visualization ability and working knowledge of color and design principles
• Proficiency with hand sketching and with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines
• Skilled in the visual, written and verbal communication of design issues
• Ability to translate stated design principles/objectives into unique and varied locations.
• Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for construction document production
• Ability to work effectively and independently within a collaborative team environment
• Strong project management skills to complete tasks as previously defined
• Experience with visual merchandising and event planning is a plus Self Starter, ability to persuade and influence counterparts(vendors)
• Knowledge of local retail dynamics and environment |
