Lead & strategize and manage Asia specific initiatives and requirements related to company apparel in order to ensure that products (1) are consistent with global brand strategy and (2) meet the specific consumer & market requirements in Asia drive business growth
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead & strategize and manage Asian Range apparel creation
Work with all relevant cross-functional personnel in product creation as a product manager and coordinator to ensure that final products meet the requirement specified in product brief including product financial targets.
2. Supervise Asian country specific local SMU projects.
3. Oversee Asia apparel size specifications and sample fitting.
4. Manage corporate sales requests and orders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Asia Range
Create detailed Asian Range product range plan with financial target
Create product brief to designer(s) based on:
- sales history analysis
- consumer and market trends analysis
- styling input from Asian countries
- segmentation strategy
Create Asian range calendar jointly with CCS Development Team and supervise implementation to meet sample, buy-ready & product ex-factory timelines
Manage communication, oversee workflow & timelines and work closely with all relevant cross-functional personnel at CCS.
Supervise product designer(s) to ensure timely and professional submission of all deliverables.
Monitor product financials (turnover, standard & go-in margin, SKU count, product efficiency, drop rate & retail pricing) and initiate business development action
Regularly update and closely monitor range plan, and make essential adjustments efficiently to minimize MOQ risk & drops.
Challenge all services and interlinked departments to ensure product excellence in the market place (design, fabrics, prices, fits, etc.).
Present concepts, sketches and fabrics to countries for feedback & approval.
Present concepts, sketches and fabrics to global Business Unit and Design Director for feedback & approval.
Work with designer(s) and Product Development to deliver F&B write-up & sample discrepancy list
Facilitate communication between Asia Design Centre in China and India to ensure the workflow is efficient and fabric & garment samples from India are properly approved to meet scheduled timelines.
Compile seasonal review reports with recommendations for future improvements.
Country Specific SMU
Oversee timeline and process of approval of country SMU projects.
Monitor any change requests and seek appropriate approval.
Coordinate with Product Development team to facilitate approval of fabric and garment samples.
Apparel Size Specifications & Fitting
Support Product Development team on sample review & fitting and provide input from product marketing’s perspective.
Elaborate and seek approval for any proposed chance of size spec and/or fit.
Corporate Sales Order Handling
Supervise & follow through on approved corporate sales apparel & accessories orders till order placement. |

** Highly competitive financial packages
University degree (or equivalent) in apparel, design, textiles, and/or relevant work experience in reputable apparel or sporting goods companies
Strong knowledge in apparel product management and development process
At least 10 years of apparel product management experience gained from reputable sports or high-end sport inspired casual apparel companies
Highly trend conscious and knowledgeable in Asian market (experience in design for Japanese and/or European markets preferred)
Open-minded and flexible in accepting input, respecting commercial needs
Understanding of sports industry and/or an interest in the sport.
Fluent in verbal and written English and able to communicate effectively and easily in Business English, both verbally and in writing (command of Mandarin preferred but not essential)

Strategic thinker with strong analyical skills

Able to work collaboratively across different cultures
