Be the co-pilot for the GM in developing appropriate organisational solutions and people strategies to drive profitable growth in the unit.
Develop and execute a People Plan that will develop the competency to start up and operate a new factory in South Korea.
Provide expertise and guidance to optimize the organizational design for the organization in line with company strategy and the principle.
Work with the GM to ensure “the voice of the associate” is heard in all business decisions and that individual associates are listened to.
Lead the implementation of the engagement process for the country through up skilling the senior associates and driving the continuous engagement agenda.
Support business success through key people initiatives with an emphasis on Talent, e.g. succession planning, people development plans and processes in the unit.
Support cross segment Asia Pacific talent agenda through collaboration in AP regional forums and platforms.
Collaborate actively with Global and Asia Pacific P&O Manager and specialists (Talent, Rewards, etc) to implement global People strategies.
Ensure effective administrative support for our associates (payroll, medical aid, benefits…) and personnel file administration (job descriptions, employee files, and any legal reporting requirements…)..
Ensure the unit have in place a set of people policies that are consistent with Company 5 principles / values and our desire to be an employer of choice.

The ideal candidate would have normally worked as an expert in talent, or as a P&O client manager within a multinational company.
The role requires a well developed understanding of the key elements of the role of P&O with an initial experience of 6-8 years.
This is a hands on role start up role, and having an entrepreneurial spirit would be an asset.
The role requires moderate travels abroad.
Ability to speak and write business level of English is a must.
