Responsible for establishment and prioritization of business priorities, strategies and execution for country insights, aligned with the Region.
Responsible for deploying capabilities to drive insights locally, including evangelizing the use of employee thought leaders to create new opportunities for the business (including: local launch and adoption of a global employee crowd-sourcing portal).
Establish oneself as a customer evangelist in the organization.
Contribute to development of parameters for market research designs. Communicate, train, drive adoption of and utilize the most appropriate research methodology and techniques (qualitative and quantitative).
Aggregate all market and customer intelligence information into a customer value story; publish external material as appropriate for the market to demonstrate leadership in the customer insurance space.
Rollout a best practice framework and tools, and drive cost effectiveness and overall value of insights.
Responsible for key consumer insight studies from inception to execution. Lead research interpretation to understand the customer base and behaviors, and identify critical customer knowledge gaps, trends and opportunities. Consolidate key points, and synthesize into actions adding insights to the broader customer storyline and connecting back to the business with recommendations.
Partner with business leaders to identify most relevant business questions and expected outcome of investment in insights, prioritize projects with Regional Head.
Support Distribution by ensuring the needs of customers are understood and insights developed to inform their efforts through efforts including heat mapping of digital sites, feedback on online/mobile journeys, understanding traditional channel dynamics and ideal B2B2C approaches.
Collaborate with Customer Analytics team to deliver "hybrid insights“, articulating the "so what" story from the analytics package.
Collaborate with Product Development and Product planning to ensure appropriate research designs are used, and that conclusions and recommendations for all research conducted are clearly communicated, and channeled to construct highly profitable products.
Contribute to establishment of Key Performance Indicators for Insight, establishing baselines and short, mid and longer term goals for the country and reporting on results on a scheduled basis. |

Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience with a broad range of research and analytical techniques, both qualitative and quantitative.
Bachelors or equivalent degree qualified in marketing, psychology/social sciences, commerce, statistics.
Must be experienced in the application of advanced research design, appropriate methodologies, and applying research results to business issues.
Direct experience in leading and implementing consumer research (qualitative and quantitative) programs from design to insight adoption.
In market experience in a consumer insights role, working with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization to develop consumer insights that address their key business issues.
Demonstrated experience in driving consumer insight adoption using workshops, brainstorming, co-design sessions, or product ideation methods to support the development of marketing strategies, product design, CVP development, customer experience design, etc.
Demonstrated success in leveraging customer insights to drive business results.
Multidisciplinary client-side marketer, with experience across the customer lifecycle (from prospect through retention).
Strong knowledge of market research fundamentals and customer needs.
Skilled in identifying, evaluating and extracting value from relevant information sources to explore customers.
Strong execution and results orientated. Continuously seeking knowledge about who our customers are and what drives them, and who are not currently our customers and why.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and gain commitment from colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Strong communication and influencing skills. Able to navigate a complex matrixes organization, influence stakeholders and affect outcomes.
