-Report to: Regional Head of Risk Management, APAC
-Main scope of work: In charge of the management of risks from all sources across all businesses in-country or the entities in the sub-region designated; and to work closely and coordinate responsibilities with APAC ERM team to achieve the APAC ERM objectives on the ground.
-Work closely with country GM and senior management to implement the company Risk Management Framework in-country
-Work closely with in-country senior management and APAC management to develop and implement processes and tools to:
1)Identify and assess all sources of risks including insurance, market, liquidity, credit, operational and business risks as well as capital risk in relation to regulators’ requirements, rating implications, etc.
2)Gather, maintain and analyze internal and external data to support risk analysis, control and reporting
3)Deliver reports and tools to help business units function within appropriate risk tolerances (e.g. portfolio risk metrics, portfolio optimization, decision-support tools, etc)
4)Assist to set risk appetite and limits and to monitor them
5)Develop scenarios for stress testing, review results of the analysis and present to senior management in coordination with stress testing at the regional and home office levels.
-Chair or assist in running the in-country risk committees and work closely with the APAC ERM team to ensure appropriate risk governance is implemented, drive the process to meet ERM expectations of Korea Board of Directors
-Work closely with stakeholders to develop plans to review and monitor risk controls
-Participate in APAC Risk Management projects across the region |

At least 6 years experience preferably in broad scope of Risk Management; or experience in insurance operations with an incline for quantitative analysis as well as actuarial exposure, intending to develop a career in risk management.
Partially or fully qualified in Actuarial, ERM, CFA or other related profession;
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English;
Self-motivated and can drive initiatives independently;
Have flexibility to work in a dynamic, multinational and challenging environment. |
