Job Description
1. Payroll
Support overall payroll process
Process the final salary payments and severance payment for resignees
Compute and analyze severance pay reserve every month
Review monthly tax filings, and provide services for the annual personal income tax filing for employees, and co-work with Finance & Accounting Department for reporting to National Tax Service
Manage and process monthly deductions of payroll, including garnishments, VGA, housing loan, 4 social insurances, union membership dues and taxes in accordance with regulations and policies
Report and manage social insurance enrolments & withdrawals
Provide Finance & Accounting Department with HR related data to facilitate statistical reports to authorities
2. Benefits
Process the benefit programs:
Condominium(Time-sharing Cooperate Resort Facility Membership): Review and process the expense reimbursement requests from employees in accordance with the company benefit policies, and manage the vendor.
Housing Loan: Process new loan applications in accordance with the company policy, and manage monthly deductions, and provide follow-ups when the payback is completed
Medical check-up: Coordinate medical check-up for employees annually
Hobby club management: review and process reimbursement requests from each hobby clubs quarterly based on the hobby club policy
Life & Accident Insurance: Inform Insurance companies of new hires and resignees
Congratulation & condolence: Process payments of congratulation & condolence money in accordance with HR policies
Children Education Subsidy: review and process the reimbursement requests based on CBA and ROE
Gifts for New Year’s and Thanksgiving Day: Process gifts selections, distributions to employees, and payments with General Affairs Department
Provides guidance to employees’ enquiries on benefit programs, procedures, changes
Update company policies on benefit programs.
Maintain and validate employee benefits data manually in excel files
Negotiate and contracts with benefit vendors for services ; medical check-up, condominium and renewal of life insurance to determine programs best meeting needs of organization
Annual Leave: manage employees’ annual leaves, congratulation & condolence leaves, sick leaves, maternity and child care leaves through the leave approval system, and process any necessary measures to meet the labor regulatory requirements
3. HRIM (Workday/GDW)
Being responsible for administering and screening the personnel record file.
Process and manage all transactions in Workday (HRIM)
Provide necessary trainings to managers and employees
Provide guidance to enquiries regarding HRIM (Workday)
Generate reports from HRIM (Workday) and modify them to meet the report objectives and usages
4. Ad Hoc
Provide proactive support to other HR functions (Performance Management, L&D, Recruitment, OD, etc)
Process any ad hoc requests on HR operations

- Bachelor degree or above (preferred from Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent)
- 2-5 years strong work experiences in general HR area (payroll plus)
- Strong analytical and numeric skills
- Strong HR, tax and Korean labour law knowledge
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Able to handle confidential information appropriately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and verbal English
- Advanced Microsoft office skills (esp. Excel)
- Accuracy in data processing, both spoken and written |
