Key Responsibilities :
1. Assesses and confirms supplier capability to meet corporate standards of supply, through audit, reviewing of analytical data compliance, performing and review of process capability trial data and verifying that supplier hazard controls are operating effectively
2. Supports the supplier to address gaps in Q&FS capability identified through audits
3. Works with supplier to investigate and resolve material non-conformances to prevent reoccurrence
4. Partners with the buyer in ensuring the material specifications are reviewed, understood, and agreed by the supplier
5. Contributes quality & food safety and supplier insights to the sourcing strategy
6. Assist SQA officer to undertakes supplier development activities to build technical and operational capability to meet the future requirement of the supply strategy
7. Is aware of and assess changes to a suppliers capability to meet corporate specifications
8. Utilizes MQM metrics to understand and improve the Quality & Food Safety of the supply base
The SQA coordinator/Technologist will do around 30 audits per year. In the context, he or she will assist SQA officer on supplier and new raw material development process, driving the continuous improvement of current partners. |
Qualifications |
1. Education & Professional Qualification
Bachelor degree in chemistry, food science, engineering or similar technical field
Need to complete an accredited lead auditor training course during the first year to enable IRCA/RABQSA/ or equivalent certification
2. Knowledge/Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical area such as R&D product development, quality assurance,, laboratory or food engineering
Fluent in English and local language is a must |
