Full accountability on the local statutory financial statements.
Responsilble for local statutory and regulatory closing and reporting processes.
Manage and control local transactions (e.g. AP, AR journals) to ensure compliance and Local statutory accounting policies.
Support the audit processes and coordination of internal and external audits
Manage and report on performance (i.e. KPI/Metrics) of key financial/general ledger controls to ensure all processes are executed in a timely manner and adhere to standards and guidelines
Interact with local regulatory and tax authorities and respond to enquiries and questions within the stipulated timelines.
Over 10 years of statutory / Financial accounting in multinational company
Financial and Strategic Acumen: Accomplished finance individual with strong knowledge of local regulatory and tax environment. Able to collaborate across functions and can communicate well with others. Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
Able to manage and work with local regulatory authorities. Collaborative and able to work as part of the overall Korean team
Fluent in English is Must
